In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled: ¹  “He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.” ² 

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet: ¹  “I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.” ² 

When it was full, they pulled it ashore, sat down, and put the good fish into containers and threw the bad away.

But this has happened so that ¹  the scriptures of the prophets would be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him and fled.

He ¹  said, “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God ²  is near. Repent and believe the gospel!”

Day after day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, yet ¹  you did not arrest me. But this has happened so that ²  the scriptures would be fulfilled.”

Every valley will be filled, ¹  and every mountain and hill will be brought low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth,

You go up ¹  to the feast yourselves. I am not going up to this feast ²  because my time ³  has not yet fully arrived.” ⁴ 

so that the word ¹  of Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled. He said, ²  “Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the arm of the Lord ³  been revealed?” ⁴ 

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it, ¹  so that your joy may be complete.

But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience ¹  my joy completed ²  in themselves.

Suddenly ¹  a sound ²  like a violent wind blowing ³  came from heaven ⁴  and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

But when he was about forty years old, it entered his mind ¹  to visit his fellow countrymen ²  the Israelites. ³ 

“After ¹  forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the desert ²  of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush. ³ 

From there they sailed back to Antioch, ¹  where they had been commended ²  to the grace of God for the work they had now completed. ³ 

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem even as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

I have great confidence in you; I take great pride ¹  on your behalf. I am filled with encouragement; ²  I am overflowing with joy in the midst of ³  all our suffering.

and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to ¹  all the fullness of God.

complete my joy and be of the same mind, ¹  by having the same love, being united in spirit, ²  and having one purpose.

For I have received everything, and I have plenty. I have all I need because I received from Epaphroditus what you sent – a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, very pleasing to God.
