The men of Judah turned around and realized they were being attacked from the front and the rear. ¹  So they cried out for help to the Lord. The priests blew their trumpets,

You are to join five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves. You are to double over ¹  the sixth curtain at the front of the tent.

The priest must dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle ¹  some of it ²  seven times before the Lord toward ³  the front of the veil-canopy ⁴  of the sanctuary.

And Aaron did so; he set up the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as the Lord commanded Moses.

Moses turned and went down from the mountain with ¹  the two tablets of the testimony in his hands. The tablets were written on both sides – they were written on the front and on the back.

He set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right side and the other on the left. ¹  He named the one on the right Jachin, ²  and the one on the left Boaz. ³ 

The poles were so long their ends extending out from the ark were visible from in front of the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen from beyond that point. ¹  They have remained there to this very day.

Now Jeroboam had sent some men to ambush the Judahite army from behind. ¹  The main army was in front of the Judahite army; ²  the ambushers were behind it.
