He mounted ¹  a winged angel ²  and flew; he glided ³  on the wings of the wind. ⁴ 

Egypt is like a beautiful young cow. But northern armies will attack her like swarms of stinging flies. ¹ 

So Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord,

The Lord will raise up a distant nation against you, one from the other side of the earth ¹  as the eagle flies, ²  a nation whose language you will not understand,

till an arrow pierces his liver ¹  – like a bird hurrying into a trap, and he does not know that it will cost him his life. ² 

Seraphs ¹  stood over him; each one had six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, ²  and they used the remaining two to fly.

Just as birds hover over a nest, ¹  so the Lord who commands armies will protect Jerusalem. ²  He will protect and deliver it; as he passes over ³  he will rescue it.
