After ¹  a few days, ²  the younger son gathered together all he had and left on a journey to a distant country, and there he squandered ³  his wealth ⁴  with a wild lifestyle.

For ¹  a while he refused, but later on ²  he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor have regard for people, ³ 

And after about an hour still another insisted, ¹  “Certainly this man was with him, because he too is a Galilean.” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “You do not understand ²  what I am doing now, but you will understand ³  after these things.”

After five days the high priest Ananias ¹  came down with some elders and an attorney ²  named ³  Tertullus, and they ⁴  brought formal charges ⁵  against Paul to the governor.

From there we cast off ¹  and arrived at Rhegium, ²  and after one day a south wind sprang up ³  and on the second day we came to Puteoli. ⁴ 

Afterward I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

For if Joshua had given them rest, God ¹  would not have spoken afterward about another day.

My integrity will testify for me ¹  later on. ²  When you come to verify that I’ve taken only the wages we agreed on, ³  if I have in my possession any goat that is not speckled or spotted or any sheep that is not dark-colored, it will be considered stolen.” ⁴ 

Six days later ¹  Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John and led them alone up a high mountain privately. And he was transfigured before them, ² 

Now I desire to remind you (even though you have been fully informed of these facts ¹  once for all ² ) that Jesus, ³  having saved the ⁴  people out of the land of Egypt, later ⁵  destroyed those who did not believe.

If a man has no redeemer, but he prospers ¹  and gains enough for its redemption, ² 

Whenever the Israelites were strong militarily, they forced the Canaanites to do hard labor, but they never totally conquered them. ¹ 

Later the king of the Ammonites died and his son Hanun succeeded him. ¹ 

The woman conceived and then sent word to David saying, “I’m pregnant.”

Then two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him.

Later the Moabites and Ammonites, along with some of the Meunites, ¹  attacked Jehoshaphat.

Later King Jehoshaphat of Judah made an alliance with King Ahaziah of Israel, who ¹  did evil.

It is a snare ¹  for a person ²  to rashly cry, ³  “Holy!” and only afterward to consider ⁴  what he has vowed. ⁵ 

At an appointed time he will again invade the south, but this latter visit will not turn out the way the former one did.
