You must not oppress your neighbor or commit robbery against him. ¹  You must not withhold ²  the wages of the hired laborer overnight until morning.

If a man has sexual intercourse with his aunt, he has exposed his uncle’s nakedness; they must bear responsibility for their sin, they will die childless.

and you may sow the eighth year and eat from that sixth year’s produce ¹  – old produce. Until you bring in the ninth year’s produce, ²  you may eat old produce.

And when ¹  the cloud remained only ²  from evening until morning, when the cloud was taken up ³  the following morning, then they traveled on. Whether by day or by night, when the cloud was taken up they traveled.

Please forgive ¹  the iniquity of this people according to your great loyal love, ²  just as you have forgiven this people from Egypt even until now.”

and your children will wander ¹  in the wilderness forty years and suffer for your unfaithfulness, ²  until your dead bodies lie finished ³  in the wilderness.

and if all your armed men cross the Jordan before the Lord until he drives out his enemies from his presence

And they must stand as your towns of refuge from the avenger in order that the killer may not die until he has stood trial before the community.

because the slayer ¹  should have stayed in his town of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest, the slayer may return to the land of his possessions.

and in the desert, where you saw him ¹  carrying you along like a man carries his son. This he did everywhere you went until you came to this very place.”

Furthermore, the Lord your God will release hornets ¹  among them until the very last ones who hide from you ²  perish.

The Lord your God will give them over to you; he will throw them into a great panic ¹  until they are destroyed.

Stand aside ¹  and I will destroy them, obliterating their very name from memory, ²  and I will make you into a stronger and more numerous nation than they are.”

The Lord will plague you with deadly diseases ¹  until he has completely removed you from the land you are about to possess.

The Lord will make the rain of your land powder and dust; it will come down on you from the sky until you are destroyed.

Moreover, the Lord will bring upon you every kind of sickness and plague not mentioned in this scroll of commandments, ¹  until you have perished.

The Israelites mourned for Moses in the deserts of Moab for thirty days; then the days of mourning for Moses ended.

They went ¹  to the hill country and stayed there for three days, long enough for those chasing them ²  to return. Their pursuers ³  looked all along the way but did not find them. ⁴ 

Joshua kept holding out his curved sword until Israel had annihilated all who lived in Ai. ¹ 

Then Joshua executed them ¹  and hung them on five trees. They were left hanging on the trees until evening.
