You are to take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration; you are to wave it as a wave offering before the Lord, and it is to be your share.

“You are to put it in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the testimony (before the atonement lid that is over the testimony), where I will meet you.

“Take ¹  choice spices: ²  twelve and a half pounds ³  of free-flowing myrrh, ⁴  half that – about six and a quarter pounds – of sweet-smelling cinnamon, six and a quarter pounds of sweet-smelling cane,

The Lord said to Moses: “Take ¹  spices, gum resin, ²  onycha, ³  galbanum, ⁴  and pure frankincense ⁵  of equal amounts ⁶ 

You are to beat some of it very fine and put some of it before the ark of the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it is to be most holy to you.

The Lord spoke to Moses: “Go quickly, descend, ¹  because your ²  people, whom you brought up from the land of Egypt, have acted corruptly.

Moses said to Aaron, “What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?”

“Obey ¹  what I am commanding you this day. I am going to drive out ²  before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Be careful not to make ¹  a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it become a snare ²  among you.

Be careful ¹  not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when ²  they prostitute themselves ³  to their gods and sacrifice to their gods, and someone invites you, ⁴  you will eat from his sacrifice;

and said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a bull calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both flawless, and present them before the Lord.

You must sanctify him because he presents the food of your God. He must be holy to you because I, the Lord who sanctifies you all, ¹  am holy.

The more years there are, ¹  the more you may make its purchase price, and the fewer years there are, ²  the less you must make its purchase price, because he is only selling to you a number of years of ³  produce.

“‘As for your male and female slaves ¹  who may belong to you – you may buy male and female slaves from the nations all around you. ² 

And if you come with us, it is certain ¹  that whatever good things the Lord will favor us with, we will share with you as well.”

“All the best of the olive oil and all the best of the wine and of the wheat, the first fruits of these things that they give to the Lord, I have given to you. ¹ 

And whatever first ripe fruit in their land they bring to the Lord will be yours; everyone who is ceremonially clean in your household may eat of it.

The Lord spoke to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any portion of property ¹  among them – I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous snake and set it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks ¹  at it, he will live.”

Woe to you, Moab. You are ruined, O people of Chemosh! ¹  He has made his sons fugitives, and his daughters the prisoners of King Sihon of the Amorites.
