I will command my blessing for you in the sixth year so that it may yield ¹  the produce ²  for three years,

Then Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up his spirit.

But ¹  we did not surrender to them ²  even for a moment, ³  in order that the truth of the gospel would remain with you. ⁴ 

Then the anger of the Lord will erupt ¹  against you and he will close up the sky ²  so that it does not rain. The land will not yield its produce, and you will soon be removed ³  from the good land that the Lord ⁴  is about to give you.

Then in the fifth year you may eat its fruit to add its produce to your harvest. ¹  I am the Lord your God.

What more can I do for my vineyard beyond what I have already done? When I waited for it to produce edible grapes, why did it produce sour ones instead?

Other seed fell among the thorns, ¹  and they grew up and choked it, ²  and it did not produce grain.

When ¹  the fig tree does not bud, and there are no grapes on the vines; when the olive trees do not produce, ²  and the fields yield no crops; ³  when the sheep disappear ⁴  from the pen, and there are no cattle in the stalls,

flowing down the middle of the city’s ¹  main street. ²  On each side ³  of the river is the tree of life producing twelve kinds ⁴  of fruit, yielding its fruit every month of the year. ⁵  Its leaves are for the healing of the nations.

He is like ¹  a tree planted by flowing streams; ²  it ³  yields ⁴  its fruit at the proper time, ⁵  and its leaves never fall off. ⁶  He succeeds in everything he attempts. ⁷ 

“‘But you, mountains of Israel, will grow your branches, and bear your fruit for my people Israel; for they will arrive soon. ¹ 

Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. ¹  But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness ²  for those trained by it.

Can a fig tree produce olives, my brothers and sisters, ¹  or a vine produce figs? Neither can a salt water spring produce fresh water.

your cattle, and the wild animals that are in your land – all its produce will be for you ¹  to eat.

You must be certain to tithe ¹  all the produce of your seed that comes from the field year after year.

if I have eaten its produce without paying, ¹  or caused the death ²  of its owners, ³ 

The wicked person desires a stronghold, ¹  but the righteous root ²  endures. ³ 

‘for there will be a peaceful time of sowing, the vine will produce its fruit and the ground its yield, and the skies ¹  will rain down dew. Then I will allow the remnant of my people to possess all these things.

The mountains will bring news of peace to the people, and the hills will announce justice. ¹ 

The crown of the wise is their riches, ¹  but the folly ²  of fools is folly.
