And if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your message, shake the dust off ¹  your feet as you leave that house or that town.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  whoever accepts ²  the one I send accepts me, and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.” ³ 

By faith Rahab the prostitute escaped the destruction of ¹  the disobedient, because she welcomed the spies in peace.

I know ¹  what to do so that when I am put out of management, people will welcome me into their homes.’ ² 

When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received ¹  by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported ²  all the things God had done with them. ³ 

Now in the region around that place ¹  were fields belonging to the chief official ²  of the island, named Publius, who welcomed us and entertained us hospitably as guests for three days.

Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, ¹  and I will welcome ²  you, ³ 

For you bring him ¹  rich ²  blessings; ³  you place a golden crown on his head.

When ¹  did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you?

And he added, ¹  “I tell you the truth, ²  no prophet is acceptable ³  in his hometown.

but the villagers ¹  refused to welcome ²  him, because he was determined to go to Jerusalem. ³ 

but in every nation ¹  the person who fears him ²  and does what is right ³  is welcomed before him.

After several days had passed, King Agrippa ¹  and Bernice arrived at Caesarea ²  to pay their respects ³  to Festus. ⁴ 

Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. Whoever ¹  receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.

If a place will not welcome you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off ¹  your feet as a testimony against them.”

because the person who gives him a greeting shares in his evil deeds. ¹ 

Therefore, if I come, ¹  I will call attention to the deeds he is doing ²  – the bringing of unjustified charges against us with evil words! And not being content with that, he not only refuses to welcome the brothers himself, but hinders the people who want to do so and throws them out of the church!

Wherever ¹  they do not receive you, ²  as you leave that town, ³  shake the dust off ⁴  your feet as a testimony against them.”

And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by how you use worldly wealth, ¹  so that when it runs out you will be welcomed ²  into the eternal homes. ³ 

Now receive the one who is weak in the faith, and do not have disputes over differing opinions. ¹
