then the hand of the Lord will surely bring ¹  a very terrible plague ²  on your livestock in the field, on the horses, the donkeys, the camels, ³  the herds, and the flocks.

then the Lord will increase your punishments and those of your descendants – great and long-lasting afflictions and severe, enduring illnesses.

After this ¹  the son of the woman who owned the house got sick. His illness was so severe he could no longer breathe.

And you will get a serious, chronic intestinal disease which will cause your intestines to come out.” ¹
