Then Herod ¹  privately summoned the wise men and determined from them when the star had appeared.

Now when Jesus heard this he went away from there privately in a boat to an isolated place. But when the crowd heard about it, ¹  they followed him on foot from the towns. ² 

So then ¹  whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered ²  in private rooms ³  will be proclaimed from the housetops. ⁴

One who has isolated himself ¹  seeks his own desires; ²  he rejects ³  all sound judgment.

When you argue a case ¹  with your neighbor, do not reveal the secret of another person, ² 

She knows ¹  that her merchandise is good, and her lamp ²  does not go out in the night.

Let your private parts be exposed! Your genitals will be on display! ¹  I will get revenge; I will not have pity on anyone,” ²
