The Lord watches over the innocent day by day ¹  and they possess a permanent inheritance. ² 

ל (Lamed) O Lord, your instructions endure; they stand secure in heaven. ¹ 

They will perish, but you continue. And they will all grow old like a garment,

because of the truth ¹  that resides in us and will be with us forever.

This is to be a perpetual statute for you ¹  to make atonement for the Israelites for ²  all their sins once a year.” ³  So he did just as the Lord had commanded Moses. ⁴ 

So they must no longer offer ¹  their sacrifices to the goat demons, ²  acting like prostitutes by going after them. ³  This is to be a perpetual statute for them throughout their generations. ⁴ 

One statute must apply ¹  to you who belong to the congregation and to the resident foreigner who is living among you, as a permanent ²  statute for your future generations. You and the resident foreigner will be alike ³  before the Lord.

So now, O Lord God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. ¹  Do as you promised, ²

I will place ¹  my rainbow ²  in the clouds, and it will become ³  a guarantee of the covenant between me and the earth.

I will give all the land that you see to you and your descendants ¹  forever.
