Then you will understand ¹  righteousness and justice and equity – every ²  good ³  way. ⁴ 

You who are naive, discern ¹  wisdom! And you fools, understand discernment! ² 

Leave the presence of a foolish person, ¹  or ²  you will not understand ³  wise counsel. ⁴ 

There are three things that are too wonderful for me, ¹  four that I do not understand:

Then he called the crowd to him and said, ¹  “Listen and understand.

because they did not understand about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.

Then ¹  he called the crowd again and said to them, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

But they did not understand this statement and were afraid to ask him.

Yet ¹  his parents ²  did not understand ³  the remark ⁴  he made ⁵  to them.

He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you understand it?” ¹ 

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, ¹ 

(They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father.) ¹ 

Jesus told them this parable, ¹  but they ²  did not understand ³  what he was saying to them.

If you understand ¹  these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Now they understand ¹  that everything ²  you have given me comes from you,

(For they did not yet understand ¹  the scripture that Jesus ²  must rise from the dead.) ³ 

so then, understand ¹  that those who believe are the sons of Abraham. ² 

Tell me, you who want to be under the law, do you not understand the law? ¹ 

When reading this, ¹  you will be able to ²  understand my insight into this secret ³  of Christ.

But understand this, that in the last days difficult ¹  times will come.
