Then Pilate ¹  handed him over ²  to them to be crucified.So they took Jesus,

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, ¹  the circumcised believers ²  took issue with ³  him,

At ¹  that time ²  a great disturbance ³  took place concerning the Way. ⁴ 

When he met us in Assos, ¹  we took him aboard ²  and went to Mitylene. ³ 

“Whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you took no delight in.

They took soundings ¹  and found the water was twenty fathoms ²  deep; when they had sailed a little farther ³  they took soundings again and found it was fifteen fathoms ⁴  deep.

When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord ¹  told him. He took his wife,

Then he got up, took the child and his mother during ¹  the night, and went to Egypt.

So ¹  he got up and took the child and his mother and returned to the land of Israel.

Then the devil took him to the holy city, ¹  had him stand ²  on the highest point ³  of the temple,

In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled: ¹  “He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.” ² 

Then John’s ¹  disciples came and took the body and buried it and went and told Jesus.

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: ¹  “God forbid, ²  Lord! This must not happen to you!”

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, ¹  he took the twelve ²  aside privately and said to them on the way,

When John’s ¹  disciples heard this, they came and took his body and placed it in a tomb.

He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,

After he took the children in his arms, he placed his hands on them and blessed them.

But when Jesus discerned their innermost thoughts, ¹  he took a child, had him stand by ²  his side,

But they remained silent. So ¹  Jesus ²  took hold of the man, ³  healed him, and sent him away. ⁴ 

Now ¹  when the hour came, Jesus ²  took his place at the table ³  and the apostles joined ⁴  him.
