They acted like fools in their rebellious ways, ¹  and suffered because of their sins.

He will deliver ¹  Israel from all the consequences of their sins. ² 

The one who despises his neighbor sins, but whoever is kind to the needy is blessed.

Your misdeeds have stopped these things from coming. ¹  Your sins have deprived you of my bounty.’ ² 

Why should any living person ¹  complain when punished for his sins? ² 

and he was baptizing them ¹  in the Jordan River as they confessed their sins.

“For if you forgive others ¹  their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

When Jesus saw their ¹  faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” ² 

to give his people knowledge of salvation ¹  through the forgiveness ²  of their sins.

When ¹  Jesus ²  saw their ³  faith he said, “Friend, ⁴  your sins are forgiven.” ⁵ 

Which is easier, ¹  to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?

Watch ¹  yourselves! If ²  your brother ³  sins, rebuke him. If ⁴  he repents, forgive him.

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

“Blessed ¹  are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

And this is my covenant with them, ¹  when I take away their sins.” ² 

But in those sacrifices ¹  there is a reminder of sins year after year.

For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins. ¹ 

then he says, ¹  “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no longer.” ²
