Heal ¹  the sick in that town ²  and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God ³  has come upon ⁴  you!’

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

So when he heard that Lazarus ¹  was sick, he remained in the place where he was for two more days.

After this had happened, many of the people on the island who were sick ¹  also came and were healed. ² 

the one who is sick in her menstruation, the one with a discharge, whether male or female, ¹  and a man ²  who has sexual intercourse with an unclean woman.’”

And the Moabites were greatly afraid of the people, because they were so numerous. The Moabites were sick with fear because of the Israelites.

After this ¹  the son of the woman who owned the house got sick. His illness was so severe he could no longer breathe.

Elisha traveled to Damascus while King Ben Hadad of Syria was sick. The king ¹  was told, “The prophet ²  has come here.”

When they were sick, I wore sackcloth, ¹  and refrained from eating food. ²  (If I am lying, may my prayers go unanswered!) ³ 

The splendor of his forest and his orchard will be completely destroyed, ¹  as when a sick man’s life ebbs away. ²

Now ¹  when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down, ²  sick with a fever.

I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’

Simon’s mother-in-law was lying down, sick with a fever, so ¹  they spoke to Jesus ²  at once about her.

So ¹  he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. ²  But ³  he would not permit the demons to speak, ⁴  because they knew him. ⁵ 

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

They ran through that whole region and began to bring the sick on mats to wherever he was rumored to be. ¹
