She considers ¹  a field and buys it; from her own income ²  she plants a vineyard.

She is clothed ¹  with strength ²  and honor, ³  and she can laugh ⁴  at the time ⁵  to come.

She bore him sons named Jeush, Shemariah, and Zaham.

Yet even after she had done all that, I thought that she might come back to me. ¹  But she did not. Her sister, unfaithful Judah, saw what she did. ²
