So those who were sent ahead found ¹  it exactly ²  as he had told them.

So ¹  he sent still a third. They even wounded this one, and threw him out.

Jesus ¹  sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover ²  for us to eat.” ³ 

You have sent to John, ¹  and he has testified to the truth.

Jesus replied, ¹  “This is the deed ²  God requires ³  – to believe in the one whom he ⁴  sent.”

So Jesus replied, ¹  “My teaching is not from me, but from the one who sent me. ² 

but ¹  I know him, because I have come from him ²  and he ³  sent me.”

I testify about myself ¹  and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

and the one who sees me sees the one who sent me. ¹
