the people who sit in darkness have seen a great light, and on those who sit in the region and shadow of death a light has dawned.” ¹ 

“Be ¹  careful not to display your righteousness merely to be seen by people. ²  Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in heaven.

After the demon was cast out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowds were amazed and said, “Never has anything like this been seen in Israel!”

Those who had seen what had happened to the demon-possessed man reported it, and they also told about the pigs.

So ¹  the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising ²  God for all they had heard and seen; everything was just as they had been told. ³ 

It ¹  had been revealed ²  to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die ³  before ⁴  he had seen the Lord’s Christ. ⁵ 

Then ¹  astonishment ²  seized them all, and they glorified ³  God. They were filled with awe, ⁴  saying, “We have seen incredible ⁵  things ⁶  today.” ⁷ 

After ¹  the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. So ²  they kept silent and told no one ³  at that time ⁴  anything of what they had seen.

and when they did not find his body, they came back and said they had seen a vision of angels, ¹  who said he was alive.

No one has ever seen God. The only one, ¹  himself God, who is in closest fellowship with ²  the Father, has made God ³  known. ⁴ 

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but ²  you people ³  do not accept our testimony. ⁴ 

And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people ¹  have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time, ² 

I am telling you the things I have seen while with the ¹  Father; ²  as for you, ³  practice the things you have heard from the ⁴  Father!”

Then the neighbors and the people who had seen him previously ¹  as a beggar began saying, ²  “Is this not the man ³  who used to sit and beg?”

If you have known me, you will know my Father too. ¹  And from now on you do know him and have seen him.”

Mary Magdalene came and informed the disciples, “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them ¹  what ²  Jesus ³  had said to her. ⁴ 

and he has seen in a vision ¹  a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

He informed us how he had seen an angel standing in his house and saying, ‘Send to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter,

(For they had seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with him previously, and ¹  they assumed Paul had brought him into the inner temple courts.) ² 

For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees?
