Do you accomplish amazing things for the dead? Do the departed spirits ¹  rise up and give you thanks? (Selah)

Who will rise up to defend me ¹  against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the evildoers? ² 

When the righteous rejoice, ¹  great is the glory, ²  but when the wicked rise to power, people are sought out. ³ 

“Now I will rise up,” says the Lord. “Now I will exalt myself; now I will magnify myself. ¹ 

In the resurrection, when they rise again, ¹  whose wife will she be? For all seven had married her.” ² 

They will flog him severely ¹  and kill him. Yet ²  on the third day he will rise again.”

Then he said to them, “Nation will rise up in arms ¹  against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

No one ¹  could see ²  another person, and no one could rise from his place for three days. But the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

In the abundance of your majesty ¹  you have overthrown ²  those who rise up against you. ³  You sent forth ⁴  your wrath; ⁵  it consumed them ⁶  like stubble.

And when the ark traveled, Moses would say, “Rise up, O Lord! May your enemies be scattered, and may those who hate you flee before you!”

who ate the best of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise and help you; let them be your refuge!

Then you rise up from your hiding place ¹  and seize ²  the city. The Lord your God will hand it over to you.

David restrained his men with these words and did not allow them to rise up against Saul. Then Saul left the cave and started down ¹  the road.

so man lies down and does not rise; until the heavens are no more, ¹  they ²  will not awake nor arise from their sleep.

On my right the young rabble ¹  rise up; they drive me from place to place, ²  and build up siege ramps ³  against me. ⁴

Stand up angrily, ¹  Lord! Rise up with raging fury against my enemies! ²  Wake up for my sake and execute the judgment you have decreed for them! ³ 

You will rise up and have compassion on Zion. ¹  For it is time to have mercy on her, for the appointed time has come.

Wherever the spirit ¹  would go, they would go, ²  and the wheels would rise up beside them because the spirit ³  of the living being was in the wheel.

When the cherubim moved, the wheels moved beside them; when the cherubim spread ¹  their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels did not move from their side.
