Doing wickedness ¹  is an abomination to kings, because a throne ²  is established in righteousness.

Gray hair is like ¹  a crown of glory; ²  it is attained ³  in the path of righteousness. ⁴ 

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable ¹  to the Lord than sacrifice. ² 

The one who pursues righteousness and love ¹  finds life, bounty, ²  and honor.

remove the wicked from before the king, ¹  and his throne ²  will be established in righteousness. ³ 

Open your mouth, judge in righteousness, ¹  and plead the cause ²  of the poor and needy.

¹ Zion will be freed by justice, ²  and her returnees by righteousness. ³ 

“Blessed are those who hunger ¹  and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

in holiness and righteousness ¹  before him for as long as we live. ² 

And when he ¹  comes, he will prove the world wrong ²  concerning sin and ³  righteousness and ⁴  judgment –

concerning righteousness, ¹  because ²  I am going to the Father and you will see me no longer;

and having been freed from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness.

but Israel even though pursuing ¹  a law of righteousness ²  did not attain it. ³ 

Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, ¹ 

For through the Spirit, by faith, we wait expectantly for the hope of righteousness.

for the fruit of the light ¹  consists in ²  all goodness, righteousness, and truth –

And the fruit that consists of righteousness ¹  is planted ²  in peace among ³  those who make peace.

I put on righteousness and it clothed me, ¹  my just dealing ²  was like a robe and a turban;
