So too a Levite, when he came up to ¹  the place and saw him, ²  passed by on the other side.

(for I have five brothers) to warn ¹  them so that they don’t come ²  into this place of torment.’

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

Now ¹  when the hour came, Jesus ²  took his place at the table ³  and the apostles joined ⁴  him.

When he came to the place, ¹  he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” ² 

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, ¹  and you people ²  say that the place where people must worship is in Jerusalem.” ³ 

So when he heard that Lazarus ¹  was sick, he remained in the place where he was for two more days.

to assume the task ¹  of this service ²  and apostleship from which Judas turned aside ³  to go to his own place.” ⁴ 

He ¹  found favor ²  with ³  God and asked that he could ⁴  find a dwelling place ⁵  for the house ⁶  of Jacob.

saying, “Give me this power ¹  too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Now when you come together at the same place, you are not really eating the Lord’s Supper.

in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

So I want the men ¹  to pray ²  in every place, lifting up holy hands ³  without anger or dispute.

as also in another place God ¹  says, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” ² 

Now ¹  the spirits ²  gathered the kings and their armies ³  to the place that is called Armageddon ⁴  in Hebrew.

Jesus said to him, “Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky ¹  have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” ² 

The disciples said to him, “Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

When ¹  his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were very upset and went and told their lord everything that had taken place.

“So when you see the abomination of desolation ¹  – spoken about by Daniel the prophet – standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

and will cut him in two, ¹  and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
