You will become an occasion of horror, a proverb, and an object of ridicule to all the peoples to whom the Lord will drive you.

Many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord who rules over all and to ask his favor.

who said by the Holy Spirit through ¹  your servant David our forefather, ²  ‘Why do the nations ³  rage, ⁴  and the peoples plot foolish ⁵  things?

They have strayed from the truth ¹  by saying that the resurrection has already occurred, and they are undermining some people’s faith.
