nor are all the children Abraham’s true descendants; rather “through Isaac will your descendants be counted.” ¹ 

So neither the one who plants counts for anything, ¹  nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.

In any case, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.

If anyone intends to quarrel about this, we have no other practice, nor do the churches of God.

For ¹  neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for ²  anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation! ³ 

For we never appeared ¹  with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed – God is our witness –

Everyone who resides ¹  in him does not sin; ²  everyone who sins has neither seen him nor known him.

‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. ¹  I wish you were either cold or hot!

So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going ¹  to vomit ²  you out of my mouth!

But those who are regarded as worthy to share in ¹  that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. ² 

Jesus said to her, “Believe me, woman, ¹  a time ²  is coming when you will worship ³  the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people ¹  have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time, ² 

So when the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats ¹  and came to Capernaum ²  looking for Jesus.

Jesus answered, “Neither this man ¹  nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that ²  the acts ³  of God may be revealed ⁴  through what happens to him. ⁵ 

David by foreseeing this ¹  spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, ²  that he was neither abandoned to Hades, ³  nor did his body ⁴  experience ⁵  decay. ⁶
