In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it with Uriah.

They are destroyed ¹  between morning and evening; ²  they perish forever ³  without anyone regarding it. ⁴ 

And that you visit ¹  them every morning, and try ²  them every moment? ³ 

when the morning stars ¹  sang ²  in chorus, ³  and all the sons of God ⁴  shouted for joy?

Have you ever in your life ¹  commanded the morning, or made the dawn know ²  its place,

During the evening, morning, and noontime I will lament and moan, ¹  and he will hear ²  me. ³ 

in the morning it glistens ¹  and sprouts up; at evening time it withers ²  and dries up.
