“Do not let your hearts be distressed. ¹  You believe in God; ²  believe also in me.

But when Paul wanted to enter the public assembly, ¹  the disciples would not let him.

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires,

Therefore do not let what you consider good ¹  be spoken of as evil.

So then, let us pursue what makes for peace and for building up one another.

Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up.

And again, “Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him.” ¹ 

so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” ¹ 

Let each one remain in that situation in life ¹  in which he was called.

In whatever situation someone was called, brothers and sisters, ¹  let him remain in it with God.

So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.

Let anyone who has no love for the Lord be accursed. Our Lord, come! ¹ 

If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with ¹  the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, ¹  provoking ²  one another, being jealous ³  of one another.

Nevertheless, let us live up to the standard ¹  that we have already attained. ² 

Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth. ¹ 

Let your word be ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no.’ More than this is from the evil one. ¹ 

But when you do your giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

But the rest said, “Leave him alone! Let’s see if Elijah will come to save him.” ¹
