Those who are wise ¹  store up ²  knowledge, but foolish speech ³  leads to imminent ⁴  destruction.

The one who loves discipline loves knowledge, ¹  but the one who hates reproof is stupid. ² 

Every shrewd ¹  person acts with knowledge, but a fool displays ²  his folly.

The naive inherit ¹  folly, but the shrewd ²  are crowned ³  with knowledge.

The lips of the wise spread ¹  knowledge, but not so the heart of fools. ² 

The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on folly. ¹ 

If you stop listening to ¹  instruction, my child, you will stray ²  from the words of knowledge.

Your knowledge is beyond my comprehension; it is so far beyond me, I am unable to fathom it. ¹
