Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as you are in fact doing.

(Stop drinking just water, but use a little wine for your digestion ¹  and your frequent illnesses.) ² 

And just as people ¹  are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, ² 

For just a little longer ¹  and he who is coming will arrive and not delay. ² 

The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

And everyone who has this hope focused ¹  on him purifies ²  himself, just as Jesus ³  is pure). ⁴ 

I can do nothing on my own initiative. ¹  Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, ²  because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me. ³ 

Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?’

For just like the days of Noah ¹  were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.

Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, ¹  and he cried out, ² 

But Jesus, paying no attention to what was said, told the synagogue ruler, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”

But when Jesus heard this, he told ¹  him, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” ² 

Likewise, just as it was ¹  in the days of Lot, people ²  were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building;

So ¹  they went and found things ²  just as he had told them, ³  and they prepared the Passover.

Just as ¹  Moses lifted up the serpent ²  in the wilderness, ³  so must the Son of Man be lifted up, ⁴ 

For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,

just as the Father knows me and I know the Father – and I lay down my life ¹  for ²  the sheep.

For I have given you an example ¹  – you should do just as I have done for you.

From the descendants ¹  of this man ²  God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised. ³ 

For just as it is written, “the name of God is being blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” ¹
