They will fill your houses, the houses of your servants, and all the houses of Egypt, such as ¹  neither ²  your fathers nor your grandfathers have seen since they have been ³  in the land until this day!’” Then Moses ⁴  turned and went out from Pharaoh.

Those ¹  of Pharaoh’s servants who feared the word of the Lord hurried to bring their ²  servants and livestock into the houses,

They will take some of the blood and put it on the two side posts and top of the doorframe of the houses where they will eat it.

As for ¹  the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities which they possess, ²  the Levites must have a perpetual right of redemption.

When the Lord your God destroys the nations whose land he ¹  is about to give you and you dispossess them and settle in their cities and houses,

how much more to those who live in houses of clay, ¹  whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed ²  like ³  a moth?

That army will pelt them with stones and slash them with their swords; they will kill their sons and daughters and burn their houses. ¹
