But Saul (also known as Paul), ¹  filled with the Holy Spirit, ²  stared straight ³  at him

And the disciples were filled with joy ¹  and with the Holy Spirit.

This gospel ¹  he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures,

Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.

All the brothers and sisters ¹  send greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by benevolence, by the Holy Spirit, ¹  by genuine ²  love,

¹  Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

Protect that good thing ¹  entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, ¹  “Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks! ² 

And after the second curtain there was a tent called the holy of holies.

For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

And the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us, for after saying, ¹ 

Nevertheless you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. ¹ 

The angel replied, ¹  “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow ²  you. Therefore the child ³  to be born ⁴  will be holy; ⁵  he will be called the Son of God.

The evildoer must continue to do evil, ¹  and the one who is morally filthy ²  must continue to be filthy. The ³  one who is righteous must continue to act righteously, and the one who is holy must continue to be holy.”

Then the devil took him to the holy city, ¹  had him stand ²  on the highest point ³  of the temple,

(They ¹  came out of the tombs after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.)

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin” ¹ 

Now ¹  the people were waiting for Zechariah, and they began to wonder ²  why he was delayed in the holy place. ³
