He is not here, but has been raised! ¹  Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, ² 

and here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison ¹  all who call on your name!” ² 

For you have brought these men here who are neither temple robbers ¹  nor blasphemers of our goddess. ² 

Or these men here ¹  should tell what crime ²  they found me guilty of ³  when I stood before the council, ⁴ 

And now I stand here on trial ¹  because of my hope in the promise made by God to our ancestors, ² 

The latter do so from love because they know that I am placed here for the defense of the gospel.

For there is no one here like him who will readily demonstrate his deep concern for you. ¹ 

For here is the testimony about him: ¹  “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” ² 

I tell you the truth, ¹  there are some standing here who will not ²  experience ³  death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” ⁴ 

Jesus answered, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  and perverse generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him here to me.”

And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ But he had nothing to say. ¹ 

Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”

Then he said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.”

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Friend, do what you are here to do.” Then they came and took hold ²  of Jesus and arrested him.

He is not here, for he has been raised, ¹  just as he said. Come and see the place where he ²  was lying.

He replied, ¹  “Let us go elsewhere, into the surrounding villages, so that I can preach there too. For that is what I came out here to do.” ² 

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, “Here ¹  are my mother and my brothers!

“I have compassion on the crowd, because they have already been here with me three days, and they have nothing to eat.

If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it ¹  and will send it back here soon.’”

But ¹  he knew ²  their thoughts, ³  and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Get up and stand here.” ⁴  So ⁵  he rose and stood there.
