the Lord’s right hand gives victory, ¹  the Lord’s right hand conquers.

to the one who gives food to all living things, ¹  for his loyal love endures.

vindicates the oppressed, ¹  and gives food to the hungry. The Lord releases the imprisoned.

He gives food to the animals, and to the young ravens when they chirp. ¹ 

For ¹  the Lord gives ²  wisdom, and from his mouth ³  comes ⁴  knowledge and understanding.

A bright look ¹  brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the body. ² 

The one who gives an answer ¹  before he listens ²  – that is his folly and his shame. ³ 

All day long he craves greedily, ¹  but the righteous gives and does not hold back. ² 

A generous person ¹  will be blessed, ²  for he gives some of his food ³  to the poor.

Like a kiss on the lips ¹  is the one who gives an honest answer.

Wisdom gives a wise person more protection ¹  than ten rulers in a city.

An honorable man makes honorable plans; his honorable character gives him security. ¹

If the person is poor you may not use what he gives you as security for a covering. ¹ 

He gives back the ill-gotten gain ¹  without assimilating it; ²  he will not enjoy the wealth from his commerce. ³ 

From whose womb does the ice emerge, and the frost from the sky, ¹  who gives birth to it,
