The fruit of the righteous is like ¹  a tree producing life, ²  and the one who wins souls ³  is wise. ⁴ 

Death and life are in the power ¹  of the tongue, ²  and those who love its use ³  will eat its fruit.

I designed ¹  royal gardens ²  and parks ³  for myself, and I planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.

So I began to despair ¹  about all the fruit of ²  my labor ³  for which I worked so hard ⁴  on earth. ⁵ 

In a good field, by abundant waters, it was planted to grow branches, bear fruit, and become a beautiful vine.

On both sides of the river’s banks, every kind of tree will grow for food. Their leaves will not wither nor will their fruit fail, but they will bear fruit every month, because their water source flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” ¹ 

The man said, “The woman whom you gave me, she gave ¹  me some fruit ²  from the tree and I ate it.”

You can present them to the Lord as an offering of first fruit, ¹  but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.

Then in the fifth year you may eat its fruit to add its produce to your harvest. ¹  I am the Lord your God.

“‘The land will give its fruit and you may eat until you are satisfied, ¹  and you may live securely in the land.

I will give you your rains in their time so that ¹  the land will give its yield and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. ² 

Your strength will be used up in vain, your land will not give its yield, and the trees of the land ¹  will not produce their fruit.

“‘Any tithe ¹  of the land, from the grain of the land or from the fruit of the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.

They told Moses, ¹  “We went to the land where you sent us. ²  It is indeed flowing with milk and honey, ³  and this is its fruit.

And whatever first ripe fruit in their land they bring to the Lord will be yours; everyone who is ceremonially clean in your household may eat of it.

But the fig tree said to them, ‘I am not going to stop producing my sweet figs, my excellent fruit, just to sway above the other trees!’ ¹ 

“So today we are slaves! In the very land you gave to our ancestors to eat its fruit and to enjoy ¹  its good things – we are slaves!

He waters the mountains from the upper rooms of his palace; ¹  the earth is full of the fruit you cause to grow. ² 

A person will be satisfied with good from the fruit of his words, ¹  and the work of his hands ²  will be rendered to ³  him.

From the fruit of a person’s mouth ¹  his stomach is satisfied, ²  with the product of his lips is he satisfied.
