You must not have sexual intercourse with your father’s sister; she is your father’s flesh. ¹ 

You must not have sexual intercourse with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s flesh.

All the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron saying, “Look, we are your very flesh and blood! ¹ 

Then a breath of air ¹  passes ²  by my face; it makes ³  the hair of my flesh stand up.

My bones stick to my skin and my flesh; ¹  I have escaped ²  alive ³  with only the skin of my teeth.

then his flesh is restored ¹  like a youth’s; he returns to the days of his youthful vigor. ² 

When evil men attack me ¹  to devour my flesh, ²  when my adversaries and enemies attack me, ³  they stumble and fall. ⁴ 

My flesh and my heart may grow weak, ¹  but God always ²  protects my heart and gives me stability. ³

And at the end of your life ¹  you will groan ²  when your flesh and your body are wasted away. ³ 

The fool folds his hands and does no work, ¹  so he has nothing to eat but his own flesh. ² 

I will put your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your maggot-infested carcass. ¹ 

You must bring into the ark two of every kind of living creature from all flesh, ¹  male and female, to keep them alive ²  with you.

Do not let her be like a baby born dead, whose flesh is half-consumed when it comes out of its ¹  mother’s womb!”

Then the heifer must be burned ¹  in his sight – its skin, its flesh, its blood, and its offal is to be burned. ² 

The Philistine said to David, “Come here to me, so I can give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the field!” ¹
