You reprimand arrogant people. Those who stray from your commands are doomed. ¹ 

I run along the path of your commands, for you enable me to do so. ¹ 

Guide me ¹  in the path of your commands, for I delight to walk in it. ² 

Teach me proper discernment ¹  and understanding! For I consider your commands to be reliable. ² 

All your commands are reliable. I am pursued without reason. ¹  Help me!

I realize that everything has its limits, but your commands are beyond full comprehension. ¹ 

For this reason ¹  I love your commands more than gold, even purest gold.

I open my mouth and pant, because I long ¹  for your commands.

Distress and hardship confront ¹  me, yet I find delight in your commands.

You are near, O Lord, and all your commands are reliable. ¹ 

I hope for your deliverance, O Lord, and I obey ¹  your commands.

May my tongue sing about your instructions, ¹  for all your commands are just.

My child, ²  if ³  you receive my words, and store up ⁴  my commands within you,

My child, ²  keep my words and treasure up my commands in your own keeping. ³ 

Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Listen to the word of the Lord who commands armies:

says our protector – the Lord who commands armies is his name, the Holy One of Israel. ¹ 

Moses the Lord’s servant passed on the Lord’s commands to Joshua, and Joshua did as he was told. He did not ignore any of the commands the Lord had given Moses. ¹ 

But carefully obey the commands and instructions Moses the Lord’s servant gave you. Love ¹  the Lord your God, follow all his instructions, ²  obey ³  his commands, be loyal to him, ⁴  and serve him with all your heart and being!” ⁵ 

The Lord who commands armies told me this: ¹  “Certainly this sin will not be forgiven as long as you live,” ²  says the sovereign master, the Lord who commands armies.

So the Gadites and the Reubenites replied to Moses, “Your servants will do as my lord commands.
