Then ¹  Satan ²  entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve. ³ 

Then ¹  Pilate called together the chief priests, the ²  rulers, and the people,

Now Thomas (called Didymus), ¹  one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

Now ¹  send men to Joppa ²  and summon a man named Simon, ³  who is called Peter.

They ¹  called out to ask if Simon, known as Peter, ²  was staying there as a guest.

Barnabas wanted to bring John called Mark along with them too,

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

After we had safely reached shore, ¹  we learned that the island was called Malta. ² 

You also are among them, ¹  called to belong to Jesus Christ. ² 

even us, whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

Let each one remain in that situation in life ¹  in which he was called.

In whatever situation someone was called, brothers and sisters, ¹  let him remain in it with God.

And after the second curtain there was a tent called the holy of holies.

but, like the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in all of your conduct,

He is dressed in clothing dipped ¹  in blood, and he is called ²  the Word of God.

For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord’s freedman. In the same way, the one who was called as a free person is Christ’s slave.

Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh – who are called “uncircumcision” by the so-called “circumcision” that is performed on the body ¹  by human hands –

and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, by whom ¹  Jesus was born, who is called Christ. ² 

But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers.

Immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
