“‘Then the priest must present all these ¹  before the Lord and offer ²  his purification offering and his burnt offering.

And Balaam ¹  said to Balak, “Station yourself here ²  by your burnt offering, while I meet the Lord there.

The entire assembly worshiped, as the singers sang and the trumpeters played. They continued until the burnt sacrifice was completed.

The assembly brought a total of 70 bulls, 100 rams, and 200 lambs as burnt sacrifices to the Lord, ¹ 

I am not condemning ¹  you because of your sacrifices, or because of your burnt sacrifices that you continually offer me. ² 

Certainly ¹  you do not want a sacrifice, or else I would offer it; ²  you do not desire a burnt sacrifice. ³ 

Then you will accept ¹  the proper sacrifices, burnt sacrifices and whole offerings; then bulls will be sacrificed ²  on your altar. ³ 

I will enter ¹  your temple with burnt sacrifices; I will fulfill the vows I made to you,
