“‘You must not eat anything with the blood still in it. ¹  You must not practice either divination or soothsaying. ² 

You must not present anything that has a flaw, ¹  because it will not be acceptable for your benefit. ² 

They replied, “You have not wronged us or oppressed us. You have not taken anything from the hand of anyone.”

So turn and leave ¹  in peace. You must not do anything that the leaders of the Philistines consider improper!” ² 

though it never saw the light of day ¹  nor knew anything, ²  yet it has more rest ³  than that man –

The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. ¹  Who can understand it?

¹ “If you buy ²  a Hebrew servant, ³  he is to serve you for six years, but in the seventh year he will go out free ⁴  without paying anything. ⁵ 

Any food that may be eaten which becomes soaked with water ¹  will become unclean. Anything drinkable ²  in any such vessel will become unclean. ³ 

All the days of his separation he must not eat anything that is produced by the grapevine, from seed ¹  to skin. ²
