But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience ¹  my joy completed ²  in themselves.

Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? ¹  Your own people ²  and your chief priests handed you over ³  to me. What have you done?”

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.

For even though I am absent physically, ¹  I am present in spirit. And I have already judged the one who did this, just as though I were present. ² 

Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?

If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you, for you are the confirming sign ¹  of my apostleship in the Lord.

I am not saying this as a command, but I am testing the genuineness of your love by comparison with the eagerness of others. ¹ 

Now, brothers and sisters, ¹  if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? ²  In that case the offense of the cross ³  has been removed. ⁴ 

For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle – I am telling the truth; ¹  I am not lying – and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ ¹  and they will mislead many.

But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

And who am I ¹  that the mother of my Lord should come and visit me?

Go! I ¹  am sending you out like lambs ²  surrounded by wolves. ³ 

I have a baptism ¹  to undergo, ²  and how distressed I am until it is finished!

He confessed – he did not deny but confessed – “I am not the Christ!” ¹ 

who is coming after me. I am not worthy ¹  to untie the strap ²  of his sandal!”

Jesus said to her, “I, the one speaking to you, am he.”
