explaining and demonstrating ¹  that the Christ ²  had to suffer and to rise from the dead, ³  saying, ⁴  “This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ.” ⁵ 

Here is another way that our people ¹  can learn ²  to engage in good works to meet pressing needs and so not be unfruitful.

Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you ¹  about our common salvation, I now feel compelled ²  instead to write to encourage ³  you to contend earnestly ⁴  for the faith ⁵  that was once for all ⁶  entrusted to the saints. ⁷ 

but when what is perfect ¹  comes, the partial will be set aside.

For when the priesthood changes, a change in the law must come ¹  as well.

the hangings for the courtyard, the curtain for the entrance of the gate of the court, ¹  which is around the tabernacle and the altar, and their ropes, along with all the furnishings for their service and everything that is made for them. So they are to serve. ² 

but one thing ¹  is needed. Mary has chosen the best ²  part; it will not be taken away from her.”

“Brothers, ¹  the scripture had to be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit foretold through ²  David concerning Judas – who became the guide for those who arrested Jesus –

Thus one of the men ¹  who have accompanied us during all the time the Lord Jesus associated with ²  us,

They also bestowed many honors, ¹  and when we were preparing to sail, ²  they gave ³  us all the supplies we needed. ⁴ 

If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know.

Joseph instructed the physicians in his service ¹  to embalm his father, so the physicians embalmed Israel.

and in cutting stones for their setting, ¹  and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft. ² 

He made its seven lamps, its trimmers, and its trays of pure gold.

This is the law of the one in whom there is a diseased infection, ¹  who does not have sufficient means for his purification.” ² 

And they are responsible for all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, and for the needs of the Israelites, as they serve ¹  in the tabernacle.

Each one also brought to the assigned location his quota of barley and straw for the various horses. ¹ 

It is a snare ¹  for a person ²  to rashly cry, ³  “Holy!” and only afterward to consider ⁴  what he has vowed. ⁵ 

Leave your orphans behind and I will keep them alive. Your widows too can depend on me.” ¹ 

But he ¹  replied, “They don’t need to go. You ²  give them something to eat.”
