You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” ¹ 

(Now it was the day of preparation ¹  for the Passover, about noon. ² ) ³  Pilate ⁴  said to the Jewish leaders, ⁵  “Look, here is your king!”

Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists ¹  have appeared. We know from this that it is the last hour.

Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He ¹  said to Peter, “So, couldn’t you stay awake with me for one hour?

Then ¹  he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you stay awake for one hour?

And after about an hour still another insisted, ¹  “Certainly this man was with him, because he too is a Galilean.” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “Are there not twelve hours in a day? If anyone walks around in the daytime, he does not stumble, ²  because he sees the light of this world. ³ 

But when they recognized ¹  that he was a Jew, they all shouted in unison, ²  “Great is Artemis ³  of the Ephesians!” for about two hours. ⁴ 

When it was about nine o’clock in the morning, ¹  he went out again and saw others standing around in the marketplace without work.

When those hired about five o’clock came, each received a full day’s pay. ¹ 

for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment ¹  what you must say.” ² 

Jesus replied, ¹  “The time ²  has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. ³ 

Going a little farther, he threw himself to the ground and prayed that if it were possible the hour would pass from him.

Day after day when I was with you in the temple courts, ¹  you did not arrest me. ²  But this is your hour, ³  and that of the power ⁴  of darkness!”

At ¹  that hour of the night he took them ²  and washed their wounds; ³  then ⁴  he and all his family ⁵  were baptized right away. ⁶ 

To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.

because in a single hour such great wealth has been destroyed!” ¹  And every ship’s captain, ²  and all who sail along the coast ³  – seamen, and all who ⁴  make their living from the sea, stood a long way off

saying, ‘These last fellows worked one hour, and you have made them equal to us who bore the hardship and burning heat of the day.’

So ¹  they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. ²  They ³  found the eleven and those with them gathered together

The ¹  ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive ruling authority ²  as kings with the beast for one hour.
