Can you count on ¹  it to bring in ²  your grain, ³  and gather the grain ⁴  to your threshing floor? ⁵ 

For our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name.

I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust –

The ships travel there, and over here swims the whale ¹  you made to play in it.

He sent his servant Moses, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

This is the day the Lord has brought about. ¹  We will be happy and rejoice in it.

Avoid it, do not go on it; turn away from it, and go on. ¹ 

So she grabbed him and kissed him, and with a bold expression ¹  she said to him,

Better ¹  is little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth and turmoil ²  with it. ³ 

An evil person seeks only rebellion, ¹  and so ²  a cruel messenger ³  will be sent against him.

The name of the Lord ¹  is like ²  a strong tower; ³  the righteous person runs ⁴  to it and is set safely on high. ⁵ 

Every word of God is purified; ¹  he is like ²  a shield for those who take refuge in him. ³ 

One who digs a pit may ¹  fall into it, and one who breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. ² 

Your plunder ¹  disappears as if locusts were eating it; ²  they swarm over it like locusts! ³ 

“Now, listen, Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen!”

For wild animals ¹  are prowling over Mount Zion, which lies desolate.

Yet the Lord our God is compassionate and forgiving, ¹  even though we have rebelled against him.

The Lord is good ¹  – indeed, ²  he is a fortress ³  in time of distress, ⁴  and he protects ⁵  those who seek refuge ⁶  in him.

You made people like fish in the sea, like animals in the sea ¹  that have no ruler.

But the Jews who were in Susa assembled on the thirteenth and fourteenth days, and rested on the fifteenth, making it a day for banqueting and happiness.
