‘Surely our enemies ¹  are destroyed, and fire consumes their wealth.’

The earth, from which food comes, is overturned below as though by fire; ¹ 

Out of its mouth go flames, ¹  sparks of fire shoot forth!

From the brightness in front of him came hail and fiery coals. ¹ 

He led them with a cloud by day, and with the light of a fire all night long.

O fire and hail, snow and clouds, ¹  O stormy wind that carries out his orders, ² 

Can a man hold ¹  fire ²  against his chest ³  without ⁴  burning his clothes?

Where there is no wood, a fire goes out, and where there is no gossip, ¹  contention ceases. ² 

You conceive straw, ¹  you give birth to chaff; your breath is a fire that destroys you. ² 

“I will set fire to the walls of Damascus; it will burn up the palaces of Ben Hadad.” ¹ 

So I will set Hazael’s house ¹  on fire; fire ²  will consume Ben Hadad’s ³  fortresses.

They will eat the meat the same night; ¹  they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast ²  and with bitter herbs.

and the sons of Aaron, the priest, ¹  must put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.

A continual fire must be kept burning on the altar. It must not be extinguished.

So fire went out from the presence of the Lord ¹  and consumed them so that they died before the Lord.

So he called the name of that place Taberah ¹  because there the fire of the Lord burned among them.

After the earthquake, there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a soft whisper. ¹ 

Total darkness waits to receive his treasures; ¹  a fire which has not been kindled ²  will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.

For it is a fire that devours even to Destruction, ¹  and it would uproot ²  all my harvest.

May the Lord rain down ¹  burning coals ²  and brimstone ³  on the wicked! A whirlwind is what they deserve! ⁴
