And ¹  the responsibilities of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting included the tabernacle, the tent with its covering, the curtain at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

You are to bring the Levites before the tent of meeting and assemble the entire community of the Israelites.

When ¹  they blow ²  them both, all the community must come ³  to you to the entrance of the tent of meeting.

Then Moses and Aaron stood before the tent of meeting.

Then Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and the plague was stopped.

No longer may the Israelites approach the tent of meeting, or else they will bear their sin ¹  and die.

David constructed buildings in the City of David; he then prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.

Solomon left the meeting tent at the worship center in Gibeon and went to Jerusalem, where he reigned over Israel. ¹ 

For you say, ‘Where now is the nobleman’s house, ¹  and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’ ² 

Yet its voice ¹  echoes ²  throughout the earth; its ³  words carry ⁴  to the distant horizon. ⁵  In the sky ⁶  he has pitched a tent for the sun. ⁷ 

¹ Moses took ²  the tent ³  and pitched it outside the camp, at a good distance ⁴  from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. Anyone ⁵  seeking ⁶  the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting that was outside the camp.

When the men with a skin disease reached the edge of the camp, they entered a tent and had a meal. ¹  They also took some silver, gold, and clothes and went and hid it all. ²  Then they went back and entered another tent. They looted it ³  and went and hid what they had taken.

“You are to present the bull at the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to put ¹  their hands on the head ²  of the bull.

The priest who succeeds him ¹  from his sons, when he first comes ²  to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place, is to wear them for seven days. ³ 

Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that was in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

“This will be a regular ¹  burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet ²  with you to speak to you there.

“So I will set apart as holy ¹  the tent of meeting and the altar, and I will set apart as holy Aaron and his sons, that they may minister as priests to me.

“You are also to make a large bronze ¹  basin with a bronze stand ²  for washing. You are to put it between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it, ³ 

When they enter ¹  the tent of meeting, they must wash with ²  water so that they do not die. ³  Also, when they approach ⁴  the altar to minister by burning incense ⁵  as an offering made by fire ⁶  to the Lord,

the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the atonement lid that is on it, all the furnishings ¹  of the tent,
