They will enter my sanctuary, and approach my table to minister to me; they will keep my charge.

No one brings grain offerings or drink offerings to the temple ¹  of the Lord anymore. ²  So the priests, those who serve the Lord, are in mourning.

So Joseph found favor in his sight and became his personal attendant. ¹  Potiphar appointed Joseph ²  overseer of his household and put him in charge ³  of everything he owned.

The robe ¹  is to be on Aaron as he ministers, ²  and his sound will be heard ³  when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord and when he leaves, so that he does not die.

“Bring with you your brothers, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, so that they may join ¹  with you and minister to you while ²  you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony.

For the Lord your God has chosen them and their sons from all your tribes to stand ¹  and serve in his name ²  permanently.

After Moses the Lord’s servant died, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant:

The priests could not carry out their duties ¹  because of the cloud; the Lord’s glory filled his temple. ²
