From heaven he spoke to you in order to teach you, and on earth he showed you his great fire from which you also heard his words. ¹ 

As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a fiery chariot ¹  pulled by fiery horses appeared. ²  They went between Elijah and Elisha, ³  and Elijah went up to heaven in a windstorm.

Look, all of you who start a fire and who equip yourselves with ¹  flaming arrows, ²  walk ³  in the light ⁴  of the fire you started and among the flaming arrows you ignited! ⁵  This is what you will receive from me: ⁶  you will lie down in a place of pain. ⁷ 

(64:1) As when fire ignites dry wood, or fire makes water boil, let your adversaries know who you are, ¹  and may the nations shake at your presence!

For look, the Lord comes with fire, his chariots come like a windstorm, ¹  to reveal his raging anger, his battle cry, and his flaming arrows. ²

“Yes, ¹  the lamp ²  of the wicked is extinguished; his flame of fire ³  does not shine.

‘Surely our enemies ¹  are destroyed, and fire consumes their wealth.’

The earth, from which food comes, is overturned below as though by fire; ¹
