The waves of death engulfed me; the currents ¹  of chaos ²  overwhelmed me. ³

There is a way that seems right to a person, ¹  but its end is the way that leads to death. ² 

The fear of the Lord ¹  is like ²  a life-giving fountain, ³  to turn ⁴  people ⁵  from deadly snares. ⁶
