Wisdom rests in the heart of the discerning; it is known ¹  even in the heart ²  of fools.

The tongue of the wise ¹  treats knowledge correctly, ²  but the mouth of the fool spouts out ³  folly.

The lips of the wise spread ¹  knowledge, but not so the heart of fools. ² 

The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on folly. ¹ 

A wise child ¹  brings joy to his father, but a foolish person ²  despises ³  his mother.

Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity ¹  than one who is perverse in his speech ²  and is a fool. ³

There is desirable treasure and olive oil ¹  in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish person ²  devours all he has. ³
