the one who is sick in her menstruation, the one with a discharge, whether male or female, ¹  and a man ²  who has sexual intercourse with an unclean woman.’”

And every open container that has no covering fastened on it is unclean.

“‘For a ceremonially unclean person you must take ¹  some of the ashes of the heifer ²  burnt for purification from sin and pour ³  fresh running ⁴  water over them in a vessel.

And whatever the unclean person touches will be unclean, and the person who touches it will be unclean until evening.’”

but whatever does not have fins and scales you may not eat; it is ritually impure to you.

Now be careful! Do not drink wine or beer, and do not eat any food that will make you ritually unclean. ¹ 

He posted guards at the gates of the Lord’s temple, so no one who was ceremonially unclean in any way could enter.

Those both near and far from you will mock you, you with your bad reputation, ¹  full of turmoil.

The meat which touches anything ceremonially ¹  unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up in the fire. As for ceremonially clean meat, ²  everyone who is ceremonially clean may eat the meat.

The pig is unclean to you because its hoof is divided (the hoof is completely split in two ¹ ), even though it does not chew the cud. ² 

All that walk on their paws among all the creatures that walk on all fours ¹  are unclean to you. Anyone who touches their carcass will be unclean until the evening,

to distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between the living creatures that may be eaten and the living creatures that must not be eaten.’”

then the priest is to examine it, and if ¹  the scall has spread on the skin the priest is not to search further for reddish yellow hair. ²  The person ³  is unclean.

The whole time he has the infection ¹  he will be continually unclean. He must live in isolation, and his place of residence must be outside the camp.

then the priest is to command that the stones that had the infection in them be pulled and thrown ¹  outside the city ²  into an unclean place.

Then he is to have the house scraped ¹  all around on the inside, ²  and the plaster ³  which is scraped off ⁴  must be dumped outside the city ⁵  into an unclean place.
