He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

But we know where this man ¹  comes from. ²  Whenever the Christ ³  comes, no one will know where he comes from.” ⁴ 

Some of them were wanting to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him. ¹ 

Jesus stood up straight ¹  and said to her, “Woman, ²  where are they? Did no one condemn you?”

No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life ¹  for his friends.

But now I am going to the one who sent me, ¹  and not one of you is asking me, ‘Where are you going?’ ² 

For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.

For the one speaking in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, for no one understands; he is speaking mysteries by the Spirit. ¹ 

Now it is clear no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous one will live by faith. ¹ 

Brothers and sisters, ¹  I offer an example from everyday life: ²  When a covenant ³  has been ratified, ⁴  even though it is only a human contract, no one can set it aside or add anything to it.

At my first defense no one appeared in my support; instead they all deserted me – may they not be held accountable for it.

Yet the one these things are spoken about belongs to ¹  a different tribe, and no one from that tribe ²  has ever officiated at the altar.

Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, ¹  for without it no one will see the Lord.

So ¹  I began weeping bitterly ²  because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.

No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment and the tear will be worse.

“But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven ¹  – except the Father alone.

For his hands and feet had often been bound with chains and shackles, ¹  but ²  he had torn the chains apart and broken the shackles in pieces. No one was strong enough to subdue him.

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, ¹  yet ²  none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.” ³ 

I tell you, among those born of women no one is greater ¹  than John. ²  Yet the one who is least ³  in the kingdom of God ⁴  is greater than he is.”
