The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

because the person who gives him a greeting shares in his evil deeds. ¹ 

And a leper ¹  approached, and bowed low before him, saying, ²  “Lord, if ³  you are willing, you can make me clean.”

“Lord, ¹  my servant ²  is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish.”

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”

He ¹  told them many things in parables, ²  saying: “Listen! ³  A sower went out to sow. ⁴ 

But immediately Jesus ¹  spoke to them: ²  “Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

But when he saw the strong wind he became afraid. And starting to sink, he cried out, ¹  “Lord, save me!”

Then the slave threw himself to the ground ¹  before him, saying, ²  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you everything.’

Then his fellow slave threw himself down and begged him, ¹  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you.’

Finally he sent his son to them, ¹  saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

“What do you think about the Christ? ¹  Whose son is he?” They said, “The son of David.” ² 

And after taking the cup and giving thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you,

saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood!” But they said, “What is that to us? You take care of it yourself!”

And Jesus ¹  ordered them, ²  “Watch out! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees ³  and the yeast of Herod!”

So Pilate asked him again, ¹  “Have you nothing to say? See how many charges they are bringing against you!”

So Pilate asked them, ¹  “Do you want me to release the king of the Jews for you?”

He ¹  asked for a writing tablet ²  and wrote, ³  “His name is John.” And they were all amazed. ⁴ 

One of the experts in religious law ¹  answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things you insult ²  us too.”

so ¹  he thought to himself, ²  ‘What should I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ ³
